Ray is a Parole officer who is in a relationship with Nikki Swango. When Ray requests money from Emmit so that he could propose to Nikki, He refuses. Ray then also argues with Emmit. Then he and Nikki came up with a plan to steal Emmit’s precious stamp collection but fails. Then he sends Maurice to kill Emmit, but things go wrong. Ray comes under investigation for double murder. He then tries to blackmail Emmit. Eventually, during a conflict, Emmit kills Ray unintentionally.
